Richard W. Crawford, DMD
Though he was born in Iowa and raised in New Jersey, it’s hard to find a more dedicated Mainer than Dr. Rick Crawford. A true believer in the power and spirit of community, Dr. Crawford spends most of his waking hours working with patients at SMOMS Portland or Windham offices, or serving patients on-call in the operating rooms of Maine Medical Center and Mercy Hospital.
Dr. Crawford lives in Yarmouth with his wife and high-school sweetheart, Martha. Dr. Crawford and Mrs. Crawford have two children, and are finding new joy and fulfillment in their role as grandparents to their two grandchildren. On the rare occasion that he’s out of the operating room, you can find Dr. Crawford on the golf course or ski slopes, enjoying the fresh Maine air.
Among the SMOMS staff, Dr. Crawford is best-known for his kind demeanor and his motto: “Make today a good day.”
