“People aren’t themselves when they’re in pain; they’re radically different people. We’re able to fix their pain to get them back to who they really are.” -Dr. Rob Walsh
Robert A. Walsh, DMD
With a father, a wife, and mentors who are all dentists, Dr. Rob Walsh seems to have been destined for a career in the dental field. Fortunately for the patients of Southern Maine, his destiny brought him from his home state of Rhode Island to SMOMS, where he enjoys the daily reward helping people solve their oral and facial pain.
Dr. Walsh and his wife, Dr. Colleen Ahern, live in Cumberland with their three children and two dogs. An avid collector of classic and modern vinyl, Dr. Walsh uses his surgical skills to tune up and repair vintage record players when he’s outside of the office.
Within the practice, Dr. Walsh is known for his genuine, caring character and his lucky, flamingo-print surgical caps.
