Timothy A. Mitchell, DMD, MD
A Mainer to his core, Dr. Tim Mitchell was born in South Portland and is proud to have stayed in his hometown where he can serve his local community. A problem-solver and people-person, Dr. Mitchell enjoys meeting his patients, learning about their own Mainer story, and helping them achieve optimal dental health and function.
Dr. Mitchell and his wife, Denise, raised their two children in Cape Elizabeth, where they currently live with their beagle, Buckeye. When he’s not practicing at SMOMS, attending hospital surgeries, or teaching at the UNE College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Mitchell can be found snowmobiling or fishing as the season allows.
Among SMOMS staff, Dr. Mitchell is known for sharing his good-humored attitude, frequent Irish proverbs, and impromptu concertina recitals.
